Handcrafted Ceramic Bowls Collection

Bowls are the most-used pieces in any Indian kitchen. We eat dal, sabzi, raita, kheer, dahi, half of every meal lives in a bowl. Which is why more time went into this collection than any other.

Every bowl is handcrafted from stoneware clay, fired twice at up to 1200 degrees Celsius, and finished with a non-toxic, food-safe, cadmium free glaze. Every piece is bone-ash-free. They don't stain from turmeric or tomato, don't crack in the microwave, and don't fade after a year in the dishwasher.

The sizes are built around how Indians actually serve. A 3" katori for dal. A 4.5" bowl for sabzi or raita. A 6" cereal bowl that doubles for pasta, noodles, or salad. Larger serving bowls at 8" and 10" that travel from kitchen to table without looking out of place on either.

Everything is microwave and dishwasher-safe. To match an existing Claymistry dinner set, the glaze families are named on each product page so the match can be made exactly.

These bowls are made assuming they will be used every day, stacked in the dishwasher, heated in the microwave, occasionally dropped on a granite counter. Thick walls, high-fired bodies, glazes that don't craze. That is what the export buyers ask for, and it is what an Indian home should be able to get too.
