Blush and Bashful Dessert Bowl, 260ml

The Blush and Bashful is a small boat-shaped ceramic dessert bowl, fifteen centimetres long, twelve across, seven deep, finished in a soft nude blush. The shape is the long oval of a banana boat: flat ends, gently curved sides, designed to hold a single dessert portion in a way a round bowl can't.

The blush is the colour of skin warmed by sun rather than the colour of bubblegum. It's a quiet pink, gentle enough to sit with most foods. The gloss finish lets light catch the curve of the rim.

It holds 260ml, a single portion of kheer, ice cream, fruit salad, or chocolate mousse. The boat shape is built for the long spoon-scoop of a dessert eaten slowly.

A note on how it's made. Each bowl is shaped, glazed, and finished by hand. Small variations in glaze depth and rim curve are part of how a handmade ceramic looks.
