Soup-tacular Delight Soup Bowl, 450ml

The Soup-tacular Delight is a deep ceramic soup bowl in calm blue — thirteen centimetres across, eight tall, holding 450ml. The proportions are built for the role: deep enough to hold a generous portion of broth without spillover, narrow enough to hold heat for the length of the meal.

The blue is even, slightly cool, with a gloss finish that lets the colour stay alive in different lighting. From above, the bowl reads as a single round pool of colour against the table; the food sits on top of it like a centrepiece.

Four hundred and fifty millilitres is the right size for a real serving of soup — a generous bowl, not a half-portion. The deep wall holds steam in and lets you ladle from the bowl rather than just the rim.

Each bowl is handmade and individually glazed. Stoneware, fired hot. Holds heat without burning the hand on the rim.
