The Solitude Katori carries one cobalt motif at its centre, small, precise, the rest left white.
One single motif, hand-placed at the centre of a stoneware body. Fired three times: twice to build the body and glaze, once more to fuse the motif into the surface itself. That third firing runs 12 to 24 hours longer than a standard katori. The pattern doesn't sit on top of the glaze. It is the glaze.
180ml. The size every Indian thali has been waiting for. Stack them, line them, build a meal around them.
Non-toxic glaze. Bone ash free. Made to eat from.
Microwave-safe. Dishwasher-safe. Made by hands that have done this for a long time.
Each katori is shaped, glazed, and painted by hand. Small shifts in the size and placement of the motif are part of how a handmade ceramic looks.
