The Folklore Dinner Plate, 26cm

The Folklore Dinner Plate is the centrepiece, dense cobalt blossoms edge to edge, the plate the meal is built on.

Hand-placed motifs across a stoneware body. Fired three times: twice to build the body and glaze, once more to fuse the pattern into the surface itself. That third firing runs 12 to 24 hours longer than a standard plate, which is why this one looks the way it does. The pattern doesn't sit on top. It's in the glaze.

26cm across. Big enough for a full thali, a roast, a Sunday lunch that asks for one plate to hold everything.

Non-toxic glaze. Bone ash free. Made to eat from.

Microwave-safe. Dishwasher-safe. Made by hands that have done this for a long time.

A note on how it's made. Every motif is placed by hand across the surface, so the pattern lands a little differently on each plate. Variations are part of how a handmade ceramic looks.

Fired up to 1200°C. No bone ash. Handmade stoneware. Non-toxic, food safe glazes. This glaze is tested for lead and cadmium release to ISO 6486 Parts 1 and 2 at an independent laboratory. Minor variation in tone, weight and finish is expected, which is how you know they were made.
