Bowl-dly Minimal Black Serving Bowl, 1L

The Bowl-dly Minimal is a 1-litre ceramic serving bowl finished in deep black across the entire body, inside and out. Eighteen centimetres across, seven tall, the proportions of a confident family-style serving bowl.

No texture, no pattern, no rings, no second colour. The whole point is the depth of the black, a finish that absorbs light evenly and lets the food in the bowl be the only thing the eye reads.

Each piece is handmade and individually glazed. Slight variation in tone and texture is part of how it's finished. Stoneware, fired hot. Solid in the hand. Holds heat well.

One litre is the size for a single served dish at the centre of a table, a full pasta for four, a salad for the table, a dal that gets passed around. The flat base sits stably on a counter or a placemat.

Handmade in a network of skilled artisan studios. No two bowls are quite the same. That's how you know they were made.
