Tidal Touch Wave Planter, Matte Black

The Tidal Touch is a small round planter, ten centimetres across and nine tall, with a textured surface that runs around the body in soft horizontal waves. Sized for a single small succulent, a young pothos cutting, a desk-side bonsai trainee, or a propagation that's outgrown its glass jar.

The texture is the point. Where most planters are smooth-walled, the Tidal Touch has a rolling wave pattern pressed into the clay before firing — soft enough to read as organic, regular enough to feel intentional. In the black colourway, the wave troughs hold the glaze a shade darker, while the crests lift slightly toward charcoal. The whole surface reads as a single dark, textured volume.

Drainage is built in. The planter sits flat on a surface without a saucer.

A note on how it's made. Each Tidal Touch is shaped, glazed, and finished by hand. Small variations in wave depth and glaze pooling are part of how a handmade ceramic looks.
