Wave Whisperer Fluted Planter, Blue Grey

The Wave Whisperer is a small ceramic planter the size of a teacup turned upside down. Eleven centimetres across, just under ten tall — sized for a kitchen windowsill, a study desk, the corner of a bathroom shelf where a single pothos can sit and breathe.

The body is fluted. Vertical ridges run from rim to base, the kind that catch light differently depending on where the planter sits — softer in morning sun, sharper under a lamp. The glaze is a soft blue-grey, the colour of an overcast sky or a pebble that's been in water. It pools slightly in the grooves and lifts on the ridges. Drainage is built in, hidden underneath, so the planter sits flat without a saucer in the way.

A note on how it's made. Each Wave Whisperer is shaped, glazed, and finished by hand. Small variations in glaze depth and ridge height are part of how a handmade ceramic looks — they are not flaws.
