Tote-ally Sorted Tote-Shaped Storage Basket

Tote-ally Sorted is a small ceramic storage piece shaped like a tote bag, ten centimetres long, six wide, fourteen tall, with two pulled handles at the top. The form reads playful but the construction is solid: stoneware throughout, with a flat bottom that sits stably on a counter or shelf.

The body is finished in deep black with a smooth glaze. The handles are pulled and attached individually before firing, which means the angle and curve of each handle differs slightly across pieces.

It works as a small organiser, holding pens at a desk, makeup brushes on a vanity, dried herbs in a kitchen, or as a small object on a shelf that gives a corner some shape. The 250ml interior is roomy enough for daily-use small items but not so large that it loses the tote silhouette.

Each piece is handmade. Stoneware, fired hot.

A note on how it was made

Handmade in a network of skilled artisan studios. The handles are pulled and attached by hand. No two pieces are quite the same. That's how you know they were made.
