Top Trimmed Contoured Planter, Sunset Yellow

The Top Trimmed Contoured Planter is a small round planter, eleven centimetres across and nine tall, with vertical ridges that run the full height of the body and a thin metallic trim that finishes the rim. The contoured ridges read more sharply than soft flutes — closer to the lines of a fluted column than to a wave pattern.

In sunset yellow, the colour is warm and slightly mustard rather than bright lemon. The glaze pools in the grooves and lifts on the ridges, giving the surface a softly textured look. The metallic trim picks up light at the rim, finishing the form with a thin bright line.

Drainage is built in. The size suits a small indoor plant — a young snake plant, a haworthia, a pothos cutting.

A note on how it's made. Each Top Trimmed Contoured Planter is shaped, glazed, and finished by hand. Small variations in ridge depth and glaze pooling are part of how a handmade ceramic looks.
