The Earthy Tones Tray is a round ceramic serving tray — thirty centimetres across, three tall — finished with a layered glaze in warm rust, brown, and chalk-white that swirls across the surface in an organic pattern. The colours meet softly rather than at hard lines, the way watercolour washes meet on paper.
The pattern is created by hand-applied glaze layers that develop their own swirl during firing. No two trays are identical — the proportions of rust, brown, and white shift between pieces, but each one stays in the same warm earth-tone family.
Thirty centimetres is the size for a small served spread — a serving of fruit, a coffee-and-biscuit layout, a charcuterie selection for two, a centrepiece on a console table. The slightly raised rim contains spills; the flat base sits stably anywhere it's placed. The tray works equally well as a serving piece and as a standalone object on a side table.
A note on how it's made. Each tray is shaped, glazed, and finished by hand. The earth-tone glaze layers develop their own pattern at firing temperature. Variations are part of the piece.
