Claymistry Designer Collection
The Luxe collection is where I put the pieces I make for myself. They're built from the same stoneware clay as everything else at Claymistry, fired twice at over 1200°C, food-safe, non-toxic, cadmium-free, bone-ash-free, but they take longer to make, involve more complex glaze work, and are produced in smaller batches.
This is hand-carved detailing, crystalline glazes that take three firings instead of two, oversized serving pieces meant for the center of a dining room, and limited-run collaborations with master artisans who have been working with clay longer than I have been alive. Every piece is photographed on the product page with the details of how it was made, which glaze, how many firings, how long it took.

Because these pieces take longer to make, the collection turns over slowly. Something you see today might not be there next month; something new will appear in its place. If a piece sells out and you'd like one made, email me, commissions are welcome, with 6 – 8 week timelines depending on complexity.
Luxe pieces are still microwave and dishwasher-safe. Handmade doesn't mean fragile, it means made with more care, by hand, in smaller quantities.
Tested for safety. Every glaze we use is tested for lead and cadmium release at an NABL-accredited laboratory. Lab report available on request.
