Top Trimmed Contoured Planter, Black

The Top Trimmed Contoured Planter is a small round planter, eleven centimetres across and nine tall, with vertical ridges that run the full height of the body and a thin metallic trim that finishes the rim. The contoured ridges read more sharply than the soft flutes on the Wave Whisperer — they're closer to the lines of a fluted column than to a wave pattern.

In the black colourway, the ridges hold the glaze evenly while the metallic top edge picks up light along the rim, so the planter reads as a single dark contoured volume with a thin bright line at the top. Drainage is built in.

The size is right for a small indoor plant — a young snake plant, a haworthia, a pothos cutting that's ready to be potted up.

A note on how it's made. Each Top Trimmed Contoured Planter is shaped, glazed, and finished by hand. Small variations in ridge depth and glaze pooling are part of how a handmade ceramic looks.
