Mermaid Teal Storage Jar

The Mermaid Jar is a tall ceramic storage piece in deep teal — ten centimetres across, twelve tall, with a fitted lid. The teal sits between blue and green, the colour of seawater in good light, with a gloss finish that lifts the colour as the eye moves.

The shape is the classic upright canister: round body, flat base, lid that sits flush with a soft seal. Wide enough at the mouth for a measuring spoon, deep enough to store dry goods or kitchen staples without crowding.

It works on a kitchen shelf for sugar, coffee, or whole spices. It also works as a small object on a vanity, a desk, or a console table — the colour earns the visual weight.

Each jar is handmade and individually glazed. The teal pools slightly differently across the body on every piece. Stoneware, fired hot.
