Checkmate Jars: The Perfect Storage Move

Checkmate is a set of three ceramic jars in three different sizes. The smallest holds 250 ml — the size for chilli powder, hing, ajwain. The middle holds 500 ml — for the daily-use spices. The largest holds 1500 ml — for atta, sugar, dry fruits, or anything that earns a big jar.

Each jar is glossy stoneware with a fitted lid. The set is built so the three sit cleanly side by side on a shelf — the proportions are deliberate. Use them on the spice shelf, the coffee station, or anywhere the kitchen needs a little visible order.

Heavy at the base so they don't tip. Wide enough at the mouth for measuring spoons and scoops. Stoneware, fired hot. Holds up to dishwasher cycles without losing its finish.

A note on how it was made

Handmade in a network of skilled artisan studios. The glaze runs slightly differently on every jar. No two sets are quite the same. That's how you know they were made.
