The Stripe Hype Two-Tone Planter is a small round ceramic planter — eleven centimetres across, nine and a half tall — finished with hand-painted horizontal stripes alternating between deep cobalt blue and chalk white. The stripes are wide enough to read as deliberate bands rather than as a fine pattern.
In the blue and white colourway, the contrast is high — the cobalt sits cleanly against the white, with each band's edge slightly soft from the brushwork rather than crisp from a stencil. The matte finish keeps the colours flat rather than glossy, which suits the graphic intent of the stripes.
It is a planter for a small to medium indoor plant — a young snake plant, a small palm, a haworthia. Drainage is built in.
A note on how it's made. Each Stripe Hype planter is shaped, glazed, and hand-painted. The stripes are brushed individually before firing, so band widths and edge softness differ slightly piece to piece.
