Line It Up Minimalist Fluted Planter

The Line It Up is a fluted ceramic planter with vertical lines running the full height of the body. The flutes are tighter and finer than on the Wave Whisperer — closer to the lines on a fluted column than to the soft waves on a Wave Whisperer. The whole piece reads as quiet and architectural rather than as decorative.

The body is finished in chalk white with a matte glaze. The flutes hold the colour evenly, with light catching the ridges and shadow falling into the grooves. From a distance, the planter is a series of fine vertical lines.

It comes in two sizes. The small (eight centimetres square) suits a small succulent, a haworthia, a propagation that's outgrown its glass jar. The medium (ten centimetres square, thirteen tall) suits a young snake plant, a small palm, a small rubber plant that's been recently potted up.

Drainage is built in on both sizes. A note on how it's made: each Line It Up is shaped, glazed, and finished by hand. Small variations in flute depth and glaze pooling are part of how a handmade ceramic looks.
