Recycled Ceramic

Ceramic waste, reimagined. 35% stronger. 60% less mining. 100% beautiful.

What is Recycled Ceramic?

Every year, ceramic manufacturing generates enormous quantities of fired waste — production rejects, broken kiln loads, offcuts. Most of it ends up discarded. Our recycled ceramic collection gives this material a second life.

Post-industrial ceramic waste is pulverised into a fine powder, mixed with a natural clay binder, and re-fired into new pieces. The result is a clay body that is denser, stronger and more durable than standard virgin ceramic — and carries a significantly lower environmental footprint.

It looks and feels like premium ceramic. Because it is.

How It's Made

Waste in. Heirloom out.

The ceramic waste is sourced from manufacturing facilities, pulverised into uniform powder, and mixed with a natural clay binder — no cement, no resin, nothing that prevents the material from being recycled again at end of life.

The mixture is cast or thrown, dried, and fired at 1200°C. Glazes are lead-free and food-safe certified. What emerges is a piece indistinguishable in quality from virgin ceramic — and measurably better in strength.

The natural clay binder is the key innovation. It means this isn't downcycling — the finished piece can re-enter the production cycle and loop indefinitely.
