Gifting ceramics is straightforward, but choosing the right pieces, understanding what can be customised, and planning timelines takes a few questions answered first. Here is what our customers ask most often.
About our ceramics
What makes Claymistry ceramics different from mass-produced options?
Our pieces are handcrafted by legacy artisans, supporting rural communities. Each piece is made with food safe glazes and is bone ash free. Stoneware is fired at up to 1200 degrees Celsius, which makes it dense, chip-resistant and dishwasher safe. Because every piece is handmade, there is natural variation in glaze and finish. No two pieces are identical.
Are your ceramics safe for food?
Yes. Our ceramics are made with non-toxic, food safe glazes and are bone ash free. For select ranges, we test glazes for lead and cadmium release at an NABL-accredited laboratory. Learn more on our safety page.
Can ceramics go in the microwave and dishwasher?
Our stoneware is microwave and dishwasher safe. Porcelain pieces with metallic or gold accents (such as the Palm and Gold Lotus ranges) should not be microwaved, but are dishwasher safe on a gentle cycle.
Personalisation and customisation
Can I get a name or message engraved on the ceramics?
We do not offer engraving, as our pieces are finished with hand-applied glazes that would be disrupted by engraving after firing. Instead, every gift order includes a personalised card with your message, placed inside the box.
Can I add a company logo to the ceramics?
Logo printing on the ceramics is not available. Each piece is handcrafted with natural variation in glaze and finish, and printing would compromise the artisan character. For corporate orders, we include a branded card or a personalised message card in each box.
Can I choose which products go into a hamper?
Yes. For custom hampers (minimum 25 units), you share a brief and budget and we recommend a combination. You can mix products from different ranges. Past hampers have included ceramic katoris with artisanal teas, dinner sets with cloth napkins, and mug sets with handmade chocolates.
Can I mix products from different ranges in one order?
Yes. There is no restriction on combining products from different ranges in a single order, whether for personal or corporate gifting.
Ordering and pricing
What is the minimum order for custom hampers?
25 units. For ready-to-ship gift sets, there is no minimum. You can order a single set.
Do you offer bulk pricing?
Yes. Pricing for bulk and corporate orders is shared on enquiry. It depends on the selection, quantity and any customisation involved. Email trade@claymistry.in or visit our trade enquiry page.
How do I place a corporate or bulk order?
Share your brief (quantity, budget per unit, occasion and delivery timeline) at trade@claymistry.in. We recommend products, share samples if needed, and confirm the order. For a detailed walkthrough, see our corporate gifting guide.
Packaging and delivery
How are gifts packaged?
All gift sets ship in branded boxes with protective inserts. Custom hampers are packed in kraft gift boxes with a personalised card. We do not use plastic fillers.
Can you ship to multiple addresses?
Yes. We handle multi-location dispatch across India. Share the address list with your order and we manage the rest.
What is the delivery timeline?
Ready-to-ship gift sets dispatch in 2 to 3 working days. Custom hampers require 3 to 4 weeks for quantities above 50. For Diwali and other peak seasons, we recommend placing orders at least 4 weeks in advance.
Do you ship outside India?
We currently ship within India only. For international enquiries, write to trade@claymistry.in and we will try to work something out.

What do you recommend for Diwali?

What about wedding or housewarming gifts?
Dinner sets are the most popular choice. The Olive Story and Sands Dune sets (from Rs 5,499) work well for everyday use, while the Palm and Gold Lotus sets (Rs 24,999) suit a more premium gift.
