Our Breakage Promise
We promise a 1% breakage allowance on every order — anywhere in India.
Ceramic is fragile by physics, not by oversight. Even with the best packaging, a sliver of every shipment will arrive damaged. We've built that 1% into how we price and pack, so you don't have to chase us for the inevitable handful.
Anything beyond 1%, we replace or refund. No questions asked.
How to claim
To honour the promise without it being gamed, we need the same proof a courier would ask for:
- Open the boxes in front of a camera. Video the unboxing. We need to see the seal break and the damage emerge in the same frame.
- Photograph each broken piece — clear, well-lit, alongside something for scale.
- Within 7 days of delivery. Same window as our B2C policy. After 7 days we can't separate transit damage from in-use damage, so the policy doesn't cover it.
- Email or WhatsApp the proof to contact@claymistry.in / +91 85119 91204. We'll confirm receipt the same day.

Replacement timelines depend on the order type:
- Stock / generic orders — replacement ships at our cost within 14–21 working days.
- Custom or white-labelled orders — replacement is contingent on production availability. Custom pieces are made in batches, so a single replacement run depends on the next available production slot. We'll write back with a concrete timeline within 5 working days of receiving your proof. If the timeline doesn't work for you, the refund option is always on the table instead.
Refunds — for either order type, processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days of claim approval.

What's covered
- Pieces that arrived broken inside sealed packaging.
- Pieces with manufacturing defects discovered on first unpacking (hairline cracks, chipped rims, glaze pinholes serious enough to compromise food safety).
What's not covered
- Damage discovered after 7 days from delivery date.
- Damage from washing, dropping, or use after delivery.
- Custom-branded pieces where the breakage is in the branding only and the body is intact (we'll reprint the branding free; the body isn't replaced).
Why we put this in writing
Most B2B ceramic suppliers handle breakage on a "we'll see" basis. That works fine until the shipment lands and your event is in three days. We'd rather you knew exactly what you're owed before the order's placed, so the conversation when something goes wrong is short.
